Labor day this year will for sure be one to remember. Me and the 3 J's, Janessa, Jessica and Jessie all set out to go to San Diego. We were just about to hit Yuma when Jessie wanted something to eat. So at the same time I decided to just get gas so we could go straight through. Got her food, car has gas, on the road again.... not for long. All of a sudden my car did a funny jerk and the computer went crazy. Everything went to zero and here I am still going 80mph.
We pulled off the freeway and I restarted the car. Put it in D and nothing happened. No movement at all. So of course I call my dad and tell him what was going on and he said call John, my brother in law. Talked to him about it. Called dad back and he gave me 2 options. 1. the drive out in the middle of the night and pick us up and take us back home getting there at 5am. 2. make the most of it!!
We picked option 2. We got towed to a Holiday Inn and got a room for the night. Ordered Pizza and laughed and talked all night till we all passed out. Next morning we got up ate and then all went back to sleep. Dad got there about noon and loaded up my car on the flatbed, a sight I don't want to see for a long time! It was one of the most fun weekends ever!!
