Utah

This past weekend I went up to Utah for one reason and one reason only. To help Alissa pick out her wedding dress! Alissa was able to get Friday off so we could go shopping to a bunch of different places. We had planned on using Saturday to shop for the dress too.

So we went to the first store...and long story short, we didn't end up going to ANY other store. Alissa had found her dress at the first store! AND it was the very first one that she had tried on! She tried on a couple of different kinds but we kept going back to the first one. It was HER dress.

The entire time I am emailing mom and texting the sisters different pictures of the dresses and getting their opinions. It was really hard for my mom not to be there, and I wasn't even the bride! I could tell Alissa wished she was there but I tried my best to be the Maid of Honor as well as the Mother of the Bride. My mom said to me in an email after telling her about all the details for the dress, that I was wonderful at being both parts. :)

This weekend was so much fun! Full of laughing, crying (just a little for me), smiling and talking, oh ya and a TON of WEDDING stuff!! :) Spending the weekend with my best friend was so much fun! It is still so crazy to me that my little sister will be getting married in less then 3 months, but I am so excited for her!! And so happy and proud to be her Maid of Honor!
