I had the opportunity a couple of weeks ago to go to LA and get more certification for my Training Specialist position. The AZ girls have the great advantage with having Marissa, our National Education Director, live here in Tempe. She has worked with us so much and wants us to be the best ones out there. She has had us teach 3 different classes to the stylist in AZ, worked one on one with all of us, and has made us into great educators.

I had the most amazing weekend! We were in class Monday learning about what we were going to have to teach on Tuesday. We were also able to do each-others hair, which is always a blast. :) Of course I stayed red but added some orange highlights... sounds weird but it's awesome!
Tuesday we had to give our presentations and for the first time I felt so comfortable getting up in front of other stylists! It is amazing to think that just a year later from starting this, that I am here actually doing it. I also am scheduled to teach my first solo class on October 26th at the South Jordan, Utah Lifetime Fitness Life Spa!! I feel ready and super excited.
